About the Artist

Art rooted in the Rockies

My family's connection to this place goes back to 1922, when my Aunt Marianne first came to Estes Park for health reasons at 16, and got a job doing secretarial work for Enos & Esther Mills — the naturalist & his wife considered the father of RMNP. The Dreyer clan visited regularly throughout the decades. I'm guessing my first visit was at the age of 8. We bought our cabin just across the Colorado River from the park in the Grand Lake area in 2017.

Then came the East Troublesome Wildfire just 3 years later. We rebuilt, planted trees on the scarred landscape, and now live here over half the year, committed to the next generation. If you're a local or a lucky visitor, I hope my work gives you something to take home — a piece of this special place that stays with you.
