About the Artist
Just a regular guy who paints and sculpts...
Like so many artists, I started drawing as a young boy as I was growing up in Missouri. I followed the illustration work of my father's boyhood friend Charles Schwartz in the Missouri Conservationist magazine, and I loved the work of Norman Rockwell and tried to emulate it. But as a teenager and into adulthood, the more I developed my skills, the more I was drawn to the Wild West. I dreamed of painting like the great Carl Rungius (featured) or sculpting like Frederic Remington—my childhood heroes.
While my own “Rungius-quality” masterpiece still eludes me, I haven’t given up on the pursuit. These days, as I’ve gotten older, my purpose has simplified: I paint and sculpt so that people like you can reconnect with nature, discover (or rediscover) the naturalist within, and carry a piece of this beautiful, magical world back home with them.

"Rob Dreyer, AFC is an internationally recognized wildlife sculptor and painter who splits his time between his home studio in St. Louis MO and his mountain cabin studio bordering Rocky Mountain National Park in Grand Lake, CO.
Mr. Dreyer was juried into the Artists For Conservation Group (AFC) as a signature member in 2010 and has had his work juried into the annual AFC International Exhibit of Nature in Art every year since his inclusion. One of the few members to be selected for both his painting and sculptural works. The Artists for Conservation Group is comprised of approximately 500 selectively juried members from 5 continents and over 30 countries. Many, if not most, of the world's most recognized names in the field are actively involved.
The AFC annual exhibition represents the best artistic works produced by the membership that year and has become the world's top conservation-themed art show and sale among the nature-inspired art genres. It begins each year in Vancouver B.C. and travels throughout the year to educate and inspire the public toward conservation of our natural world.
Mr. Dreyer's work has been exhibited as far away as Tsingtau, China and has been acquired as part of the permanent collections of both the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson and the St. Louis University Museum of Art. A number of private collectors own multiple pieces of his original works."
Mr. Dreyer opened the Little Grand Art Gallery in 2026 to showcase his local Grand Lake, CO work and to be able to interact more directly and authentically with customers who value the work.
